Miners baseball assists Negaunee Elks in pasty sale

The Miners' team helped the Elks both make and distribute what turned into the sale of 481 pasties, with the Elks lodge rewarding them with a donation of $1,082.25 for participating.
The team plans to use these funds to help cover travel expenses to various games away from home next spring.
In addition, the Elks took $94 of Beacon Grant funds to make $350 worth of pasty meals for St. Vincent de Paul, which gave 50 meals to those in need of food in the community.
