MARQUETTE — The public is invited to attend a news conference to introduce new Northern Michigan University football coach Matt Janus this afternoon.

The Wildcats’ athletic department is holding the event at 3 p.m. in the Wildcat Room at the Berry Events Center.

Assistant athletic director for Sports Information Zach Nicholas mentioned that the format will be similar to a conference held when current head hockey coach Dave Shyiak was introduced about 18 months old, when dozens of people from the community attended along with a media throng.
