McDonald’s wins 3 of 5 in recent Little League baseball Minor Division play
ISHPEMING — The McDonald’s team won three of its past five games during play in Little League Minor Division baseball play.

River Rock’s Liam Huetter and Nolan Nault both had a single and a walk, with Huetter scoring twice and Nault once. Jaxon Hart went three innings, recording nine strikeouts.
McDonald’s Noah Filpus was 2 for 2, including a double, as he scored twice, while teammate Ryker Smith pitched two innings and fanned four.

The winners’ Isaac Brancheau was this game’s star, striking out six in just two innings on the mound while drawing a pair of walks and scoring a run at the plate.

Heikkinen again had a big hitting game for McDonald’s, going 2 for 2 with an inside-the-park homer and a double, while teammate Jonah Harder walked twice and scored two times.
Jarvis went 2 2/3 innings on the mound for the winners, K’ing six.
WIN Lawn Care’s Theo Heikkila had a single and walk, while Braxton Gauthier both walked and scored twice. Teammate Jackson Rich went two innings on the mound, striking out three.
