MARQUETTE — Seven individuals will be inducted into the Michigan Tech Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 11.

In the class of 2022 are these former coaches and players — head coaches Tom Kearly and Kevin Luke, football players Jim Grimes and Lee Marana, hockey player Pat Mikesch, women’s basketball player Katie Wysocky and Nordic skier and runner Roger Pekuri.

Kearly was head football coach from 2005-16 and Luke was head men’s basketball coach from 1994-2021.

Grimes played football in 1965 and wrestled from 1966-67, but was also instrumental in reviving the football program in 2003.

Marana played from 2003-06, Mikesch played from 1992-96, Wysocky from 2006-10 and Pekuri from 1969-72.

Pekuri was a cofounder of the cross country running and Nordic ski programs at MTU.
