Miles Bagley is new Superior Central athletic director

By Journal Sports Staff

EBEN JUNCTION — Superior Central Schools named Miles Bagley as its athletic director, replacing Kristine Bray, who will remain as varsity volleyball coach.

Bagley, who will also be the school district’s academic and career adviser, has been at Superior Central for several years coaching junior varsity and middle school boys basketball, according to SC principal and superintendent Bill Valima.

“Miles has coached basketball at many levels for years, including here at Superior Central the past couple of years,” Valima said in a recent email announcing the change.

“His background in athletics, business and organizational leadership will be a great addition to not only our athletic program, but our school district as a whole.”

“I grew up in Utah where sports played a major role in my life,” Bagley said in the news release. “Sports taught me how to interact with and work together with a wide variety of people. It taught me to set goals and work through difficulty to accomplish those goals. Sports put me in contact with great coaches and leaders who encouraged me and helped to give me direction.

“I am committed to passing those things on to the young people in my life so that the people I come in to contact with have every opportunity to recognize and achieve their potential.”
