MARQUETTE — Several pickleball clincs will be offered in Marquette County during the first two weeks of August.

Tennis and pickleball professional Josh Kitto will host the clinics, which require preregistration and cost $25. Equipment is provided.

Beginners sessions will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Sands Township Recreation Complex near the Crossroads of M-553 and County Road 480, from 9:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Al Quaal courts in Ishpeming, and from 9:30 to noon Wednesday, Aug. 11, also at the Al Quaal courts.

An Improvers class will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 9, at the Sands Township courts.
