GLADSTONE — The Marquette Senior High School baseball team dropped a heartbreaker to host Gladstone, 11-10, Wednesday.

The Redmen led by one going into the seventh but gave up 2 runs and the win went to Gladstone.

Darmogray earned the win for the Braves, going four innings, giving up two runs but striking out five.

Justin Wenk shouldered the loss, pitching three innings, with five runs scored. He tallied seven strikeouts.

For the hosts, Kelly and Darmogray recorded 2 RBIs each while Vanbrocklin and Krouth had three hits each.

For MSHS, Peter VandenAvond and Wenk knocked in two RBIs each and Brady Wright and VandenAvond each had runs scored.
