Norway Speedway releases summer slate

NORWAY — A weekly racing schedule at Norway Speedway has been announced by the Dickinson County Racing Association.

With a few nightly sponsorship details to be confirmed, the group announced that for its 54th season, a 15-race schedule that includes a pair of preseason practice sessions will be held at the one-third-mile paved oval at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Norway.

Opening night is Friday, May 28, with the green flag waving at 8 p.m. EDT.

Highlights include the 38th annual Stateline Challenge on July 2, Auto Value Series on July 16 and Aug. 13, and Norway Speedway Hall of Fame Class of 2021 unveiled on June 25 with a fireworks display.

UTV exhibition races are set for three nights with spectator eliminator events on six nights, while championship night is set for Sunday, Sept. 5.

Weekly divisions include late models, super stock, auto stock cars and four bangers, with sport trucks scheduled every other week.

Saturday afternoon practices for all drivers are set for May 15 and 22, which are free for spectators.
