Steve Whelan notches first hole-in-one at Marquette Golf Club
MARQUETTE — Club member Steve Whelan recorded his first hole-in-one at the Marquette Golf Club on Aug. 25.
Whelan used a pitching wedge to ace the 121-yard, par-3 17th hole at the Greywalls course on his way to a nine-hole round of 42.
Witnesses were playing partners Scott Salminen, Nate Noble and Steve St. Onge.
