Wildcat Aquatics qualify 3 swimmers for Wisconsin state meet

MARQUETTE — The Wildcat Aquatics Club of Marquette not only qualified three swimmers for the 12-years-and-under Wisconsin USA State Championship Meet held Feb. 28-March 1, but won the Division 3 state title as well.

These swimmers had top-five finishes:

• Kaytlin Roell, 9-10 age group — 1st place, 200 freestyle, 2:15.98; 4th, 500 free, 6:11.44; 4th, 100 backstroke, 1:10.57; 4th, 100 butterfly, 1:14.64

• Henrik Larsen, 9-10 — 2nd place, 200 free, 2:12.57; 2nd, 100 fly, 1:08.3; 3rd, 100 individual medley, 1:13.23; 4th, 50 fly, 30.94; 4th, 200 IM, 2:36.50.

Paige Davis, 12, also competed at the meet.
