HOUGHTON — North Central High School graduate Dawson Bilski was named the GLIAC North Division Player of the Week in men’s basketball after the junior guard helped lead Michigan Tech to a pair of wins last week.

Bilski made 11 3-pointers and finished with 49 points total in home victories over Purdue-Northwest and Wisconsin-Parkside. He led the Huskies in scoring each game, putting in 26 points vs. PNW and 23 vs. UWP.

While adding in eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in all, he made 17 of 25 shots overall from the field (68 percent), including 11 of 15 on triples (73 percent).
