MARQUETTE — The 17th annual Finlandia Dome Classic softball tournament will be held this weekend in Marquette.

The Northern Michigan University club team will be joined in the Superior Dome by seven collegiate teams — host Finlandia and Bay College from the Upper Peninsula; and Northland, Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Wisconsin-Superior, Concordia and the Concordia JV from Wisconsin.

Two fields will be in play throughout the tournament, which starts with games at 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. Sunday.

Daily ticket prices are $5 for those 10 years old and older and free for younger. Admission is also free for softball players 18 and younger who bring their softball gloves.
