Dondre Yohe scores in Bay College men’s basketball win

ESCANABA — Sophomore Dondre Yohe of Ishpeming scored four points as Bay College defeated Kellogg Community College 95-87 in overtime in Battle Creek on Saturday in college men’s basketball for a split of their weekend downstate trip.

The Norse lost 70-68 on Friday at Grand Rapids CC.

Yohe made all four of his free throws vs. Kellogg, while sophomores Luke Mattson of Negaunee and Cade Contreras of Munising along with freshman Austin Forbes of Gwinn each went scoreless. Mattson, however, contributed seven rebounds and two assists; Forbes had a rebound, an assist and even a blocked shot; and Contreras had an assist in the win.
