Marquette Golf Club tourneys net 2 holes-in-one
MARQUETTE — The Marquette Golf Club saw a pair of golfers record holes-in-one during their recent club championship tournaments.
Ray DesJardins registered his third career ace on the Greywalls course, using a 7-iron to hole out his tee shot on the 121-yard sixth hole. It was witnessed by Rich Alholm.
On the same day, Robert Luke Jr. notched his first-ever hole-in-one in 42 years of playing also at Greywalls. He used a 9-iron to ace the 137-yard 17th hole as part of a nine-hole round of 34. Witnesses were Jon Kamps, Pat Havel Jr. and Tom Dionne.
