The Marquette United Soccer Club girls under-17 team won the championship at the Eau Claire, Wis., United Invitational held June 8-9. On the opening day, Marquette defeated Traverse City United 7-0 and tied Eau Claire United 1-1. On Day 2, MUSC shut out Southern Minnesota NLS Nitro 6-0, and in the title game, again defeated Eau Claire United 1-0.
