Sue Micklow, left, won her Marquette Golf Club-record 15th club championship when she defeated Kris Saint Onge, right, in the finals of the Ladies Club Championship on Aug. 19 on the Greywalls course. Micklow also defended her title for the eighth consecutive year. The three-day event began Aug. 17 with the quarterfinals, when Micklow defeated Dagmar Raica, Saint Onge defeated Jenny Marietta, Nicole Noble defeated Jan Hruska and Kristen Bjorne defeated Karla McCutcheon. The Aug. 18 semifinals saw Micklow defeat Noble and Saint Onge defeat Bjorne to set up the finals. Other flight winners were Karla McCutcheon in the first flight and Susie Jacobs in the second.
