CHAMPION — Champions were crowned in a pair of scramble golf tournaments held recently at Wawonowin Country Club.

Grant Kierzak and Clyde Nyman shot 66 to be overall winners at the club’s Two Man Senior Scramble held Aug. 6.

The pair also won the 50-59-year-old division with that score. Other age group winners were Dan Swanson and Mike Rivord, shooting a 66 in the 60-64 division; Tom Hammar and Dave Gadomski, 67, 65-69; and Dennis Heikkila and Dennis Pairalaro, 66, 70-over.

Pam Caron, Lisa LaCasse and Karen McCorkle teamed up to become champions of the Three Woman Scramble on Aug. 4, winning on the first playoff hole against two other teams — Lindsay Reynolds, Kelsey Mooto and Kari Charlevoix, and also Heidi Olson, Leah Skoglund and Kim Bjork. Each team shot 66.

These are the other flight winners — first flight, Christy Cain, Beth Christianson and Alyson Sundberg, 73; second, Barb Blewett, Linda Durocher and Mary Gustitus, 74; third, Barbara Perry, Barb Fredrickson and Sally Osterberg, 78; fourth, Ann Lahaie, Diane Wright, Ginny Freeborn, 83; fifth, Cheryl Dix, Jane Mariuzza and Sandra Latzer, 88.
