‘Pump it Up!’ golf tourney to take place Monday
NORWAY — The “Pump it Up!” golf tournament will take place Monday at Oak Crest Golf Course in Norway.
This four-person scramble is a fundraiser for Oak Crest’s new pump station.
“That’s something we are in desperate need of,” said Kevin Londo, director of golf and operations at Oak Crest.
The Labor Day event starts at 10 a.m., with the entry fee $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Golfers can make up their own team or individuals will be assigned to a team.
“Every green will have two flagsticks,” Londo said. “Golfers can pick the flag that is right for their team.”
