ISHPEMING — Riverside doubled up Pine Grove Bar 12-6 in recent action in the Major Division of the Ishpeming Horseshoe League.

In another Major match, Fox Motors edged Maki’s Mini Mart 10-8.

In the Classic Division, Paradise Bar defeated Negaunee VFW 12-6, Household Appliance downed Kassel’s Korner 11-1 and Willey’s Tire Shop felled American Legion 8-4.

Gwinn Mixed Doubles

The Dead Ringers went 2-0-1 in the first three weeks of the second round to build the top points of 33 in the Gwinn Mixed Doubles Horseshoe League.

In Week 1 of Round 2, the Dead Ringers tied Flying Iron 9-9, Bandits doubled up the Leaners 12-6 as did the Hand Grenades over the Hideaway.

In Week 2, Dead Ringers beat the Leaners 11-7, Bandits tied Hideaway 9-9 and Flying Iron flipped Hand Grenades 12-6.

For Week 3, Hand Grenades tied the Leaners 9-9, Dead Ringers tripped up the Bandits 13-5 and Flying Iron slipped past the Hideaway 10-8.
