NHS icers fall on road
WELLS – Every Eskymo got to touch the puck in the regular season finale for the Escanaba prep hockey team Thursday against visiting Negaunee in an 8-3 victory.
The Eskymos (15-6-4) outshot Negaunee 57-17.
Esky senior defenseman Calvin Pinar scored two goals and had an assist, while senior forward Jack Williams scored a goal and had three assists.
Wyatt Tull scored for Negaunee in the first period, assisted by Shane Ring. The Miners got goals from Neil Violette and Anthony Hammermaster in the third period.
