These three Munising residents achieved what for many golfers is a once-in-a-lifetime event when they each collected holes-in-one at the Pictured Rocks Golf Club on Saturday. From left, Patti Eiseman, Robert Haapala and Norma Dick were competing in the second annual Mazzali Insurance Agency’s Par 3 Tournament at the Munising course. They and the other participants were paired off in this scramble event, playing 18 holes, taking a lunch break and finishing with nine holes, all par-3s just for this event. The trio all got their aces before lunch, Haapala on the 150-yard fourth hole, Eiseman on the 125-yard 15th and Dick on the 100-yard 14th, reportedly within an hour.
