Hruska medalist in Ladies Club
MARQUETTE – Defending champion Sue Micklow and top qualifier Jan Hruska will face a half-dozen other women in the finals of the Ladies Club Championship this weekend at the Marquette Golf Club.
Hruska shot 83 on the Greywalls course to earn medalist honors on Sunday afternoon. The other qualifiers are Deanna Stien with 86; Sheila Grazulis and Jenny Marietta, each with 91; Kristen Bjorne and Karla McCutcheon, each with 92; and Dagmar Raica, 95.
The first-round matchups include Micklow vs. Raica and Grazulis vs. Marietta in the upper bracket and Hruska vs. McCutcheon and Stien vs. Bjorne in the lower bracket.
