Downs sinks ace in Munising
MUNISING – Bobby Downs of Munising picked an opportune time to post a hole-in-one at the Pictured Rocks Golf Club in Munising.
Competing in the Alger Regional Community Foundation Youth Memorial Golf Tournament on Aug. 15, he aced the 128-yard, par-3 14th hole. Downs used a pitching wedge.
Witnessing his shot were team members Ben Fulcher, Jeremiah LaFlamme and his father, Josh Downs.
The team of Bette and Dale Immel, Curt Heribacka and Carrie Mattson also saw the feat.
