WJZ wins Swamper title
CURTIS – A Germfask-based team that included a number of eastern Upper Peninsula players put together a successful run to the championship at the 40th annual Swamper Softball Tournament held in Curtis on July 18-19.
WJZ Harvesting recaptured the top trophy for a U.P. team by coming through the winner’s bracket and holding off runner-up South Point Collision of Traverse City in the finals. Big D’s of Midland finished third.
