MARQUETTE – The fifth annual Blueberry Classic golf outing will be held Friday, July 24, at the Northern Michigan University Golf Course in Chocolay Township.

Funds raised benefit the NMU Student Flexible Aid Fund, where students can apply for help in covering costs such as auto repairs, medical bills, child care and course expenses not covered by financial aid.

The advance registration deadline is Monday. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. the day of the event, with teams teeing off at noon.

Golfers of all levels can participate as the $100 per-person registration fee covers greens fees plus a shared cart, blueberry-themed lunch, beverages and snacks on holes, and appetizers after golf.
