MARQUETTE – Three winning golf duos were named at the inaugural Par 3 Tournament held at the Marquette Golf Club’s Heritage course over the past weekend.

A total of 28 pairs entered, playing on holes ranging from 60 to 200 yards.

Pat Koski and Ann LaHaie won the women’s division with a round of 60, while two other duos tied for second with 64 – Connie Tonkin and Jayne Zorza, along with Ginny Freeborn and Diane Wright.

Husband and wife Nate and Nicole Noble won the mixed division with 52, while father-daughter Jim and Sydney Higgins were runners-up with 53. Third place was claimed by Joe Hiss and Cyndi Schieber with 55.

In the men’s division, which also crowned the overall champion, Rick Rhoades Jr. and Jordan Jurmu shot a 5-under-par 49 to win. Four strokes back at 53 were three teams – Chris Rhoades and Travis Niemi, along Craig Helpp and Ken Knuttila, and also Mike L’Huillier and George Trujillo.
