NMU cites DeBruin for scholarship
MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University women’s basketball player Abbey DeBruin was recently named the September Scholar Athlete of the Month by the NMU Athletic Council.
The senior forward averaged 9.2 points per game last season and helped bring a GLIAC Championship back to Marquette.
DeBruin will be honored at the NMU-Wayne State football game on Saturday afternoon.
