No. 16 Michigan hosts Western Michigan on Saturday night in coach Kyle Whittingham’s debut with the football Wolverines.
Whittingham was hired shortly after stepping down at Utah, replacing fired and arrested coach Sherrone Moore.
Western Michigan returns starting quarterback Broc Lowry and starting running back Jalen Buckley.
Game time is 7:30 p.m. in Ann Arbor with television coverage available on NBC.
