MARQUETTE — The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will hold a sports-related seminar for interested area residents.

Northern Michigan University athletic director Rick Comley will discuss new NCAA rules and regulations, specifically related to college football and how they will affect the Wildcats.

The seminar will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, at Superior Dome Room B101 in Marquette.

Some of the proposed and already enacted rule changes include coach-to-player helmet communications, sideline tablets for replays, two-minute warnings in each half and stricter enforcement of uniform violations.

Cost is $5 for NCLL members and $10 for nonmembers, with an audience limit of 50 people.
