Northern Michigan University Wildcats women wrestlers host meet tonight against Alma at Superior Dome

MARQUETTE — The Northern Michigan University women’s wrestling team will host a dual meet for the second time this season at 6 p.m. today in the Superior Dome.

This is a rescheduled meet against Alma that was postponed on Jan. 12 because of winter weather.

NMU has already visited Alma twice this season, once in a dual format when the Wildcats won 38-5 and six NMU wrestlers won their weight classes.

Fans can follow the action @NMU_Wildcats on X (formerly Twitter) and @nmu_wrestling on Instagram for updates leading up to and after the event. Results will also be available following the meet on the NMU athletics website at nmuwildcats.com and looking under the women’s wrestling schedule.

Northern is ranked No. 12 in the most recent The Open Mat NCAA Women’s Wrestling rankings, while the Wildcats are 10th in the National Women’s Coaches Association rankings.
