HERMANSVILLE — Two players each from Munising and Superior Central earned honors when the Skyline Central Conference announced girls basketball honors that were voted on by coaches recently at the Wildwood Restaurant in Hermansville.

One of those players, junior Jenna Matson of Munising, actually earned two honors — she was named to the league’s top group, the First Team, while also earning a nod to the All-Defensive Team.

A junior teammate, Valerie Johnson, earned one of the league’s special honors after she won the Individual Sportsmanship Award.

Headlining for Superior Central was junior Riley Johnson, who joined Matson on the Skyline First Team.

Joining her on the Second Team was junior teammate Emma Rutter.
