HERMANSVILLE — The 2021 Gold Medal Classic begins this weekend with junior high action at the Meyer Township Community Center in Hermansville.

The junior high girls bracket will be played Saturday and boys on Sunday. Teams are entered from Ishpeming, Norway, Powers, Stephenson, Crystal Falls, Felch and Sault Ste. Marie, according to tournament director Bryan Maule.

This weekend’s schedule will be released in the next several days, Maule said.

The historic adult portion of the tournament begins next Wednesday, with four games the first evening.
