CALUMET — A big game from Zach Carlson and double-digit scoring nights from three teammates helped push the Westwood boys basketball team to a 62-46 win over Calumet Thursday.

Carlson led all scorers with 23 points, while teammate Garrett Sundberg had 14 and both Tyler Annala and Zach Beckman added 10 for the Patriots.

Westwood jumped out to a big 23-6 advantage after the first quarter, but the Copper Kings rallied to cut their deficit to 31-23 at the half.

The Pats held a seven-point lead going into the fourth and then pulled away, outscoring Calumet 19-10 in the final eight minutes to complete the win.
