HOUGHTON — Tonight’s MHSAA Division 4 girls basketball regional championship game has been moved from Kingsford High School to Michigan Tech.

The move made sense as the teams battling for the regional title are both from Baraga County, L’Anse and Baraga. The game is schedule for 7 p.m. and school passes aren’t accepted per MHSAA policy.

The Purple Hornets defeated Carney-Nadeau 53-47 and the Vikings fended off Munising 51-49 in Tuesday’s regional semifinal games played at Kingsford.
