ISHPEMING — Marquette proved its superior depth with a dominating performance at the Westwood Relays high school swimming and diving meet held at the Patriots’ pool on Saturday.

The Redmen and Redettes won 14 of the 17 events staged in boys, girls and mixed four-person relays.

Marquette carried the days in six of seven boys events, six of seven girls and two of three mixed races.

Events included nontraditional events like backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke relays and a mixed 500 free relay.

Kingsford won two and Gladstone one event.
