NMU men’s soccer loses 1-0 again
GRAND RAPIDS — The men’s soccer team at Northern Michigan University lost its second 1-0 GLIAC contest of the weekend at Davenport on Sunday afternoon.
After falling by the same score at Ashland, Ohio, on Friday, the Wildcats (3-5, 2-2 GLIAC) took a dozen shots Sunday, six on goal to five on goal for the host Panthers (3-3, 3-0).
Senior Luca Lippert had four shots, two on goal, while sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Restum made three saves.
NMU returns home for three straight league matches, including two this weekend that begins with a 4 p.m. Friday game against Northwood at the NMU Soccer Field.
