ISHPEMING — The traditionally powerful Houghton Gremlins swept Ishpeming in three sets in a high school volleyball match played at the Hematites gym on Monday night.

The Gremlins prevailed 25-16, 25-18, 25-19, despite Olivia Corp making seven kills with just one error and serving two aces. She also had three digs and two blocks.

Teammate Madi Mead made four kills and had eight digs, two blocks and an ace, while Emma Poirier had three kills and six digs. Rylee Harris had seven digs and two kills, while Megan Racine had six digs.

Ishpeming is back in action tonight at West Iron County.
