IRON RIVER — Westwood finished third among five scoring teams at the George Young Invitational high school girls golf tournament held at the George Young Golf Course on Wednesday.

Led by Laci Moffatt’s 108, the seventh best score of the day, the Patriots totaled 472. Ontonagon and West Iron County tied for first with 431, while Iron Mountain was fourth with 497 and Calumet fifth with 518.

Negaunee was among four schools that didn’t field a full team. The Miners’ three players were led by sophomore Lexi Mason with 112.

Westwood also had Renee Blanck shoot 117, Haley Mattila 123 and Aubrie Magnuson 124. The Miners’ Marissa Neveau shot 115 and Kaitlyn Judd 133.
