MARQUETTE — Marquette will be one of four sites hosting area high school wrestling teams for MHSAA team district tournament tonight and Thursday.

Marquette Senior High School’s Barb Crill Gymnasium will have three Division 2 teams there to determine a district title today. The host Redmen square off against Escanaba at 6 p.m., with the winner to face Sault Ste. Marie for the championship immediately after.

Munising hosts a Division 4 district today, with the Mustangs going against Ishpeming at 6 p.m. with the winner to square off against Westwood for the district to follow.

Rudyard also has a D-4 tourney today. Newberry faces the host Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. with the victor facing St. Ignace immediately after.

On Thursday, Negaunee travels to a Division 3 tourney at Gladstone. The Miners face Kingsford and Gladstone goes against Menominee at 6 p.m., with the winners squaring off for the district title right after that.

Individual districts are scheduled to be held Saturday.
