L’ANSE — Iron Mountain scored a four-set victory over L’Anse, 22-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-17, in a high school volleyball match held at the Purple Hornets’ gym on Tuesday.

In another match played Tuesday, Negaunee also prevailed over Hancock in four sets, though scores and other details weren’t available.

Iron Mountain played without two regulars, but Lauren Lesky stepped in to help fill their shoes, coach Jeanne Newberry told the Iron Mountain Daily News.

IM also won the JV match 25-21, 25-16 as both those teams had been undefeated.
