Dustin Brancheau leads undefeated U.P. Insurance in Ishpeming City Basketball League

ISHPEMING -- Dustin Brancheau scored 19 points to lead undefeated U.P. Insurance to a 69-57 victory over Gauthier Insurance in Week 10 of the Ishpeming City Basketball League.

Larry Burnette added 15 points for the winners, which improved its record to 10-0. Gabe Eppert scored 16 points and Bobby Zhulkie 14 for Gauthier.

Scott Chapman, Brent Zambrowski and Brandon Sayen each scored 15 points to lead Bell Forest Products to a 74-56 win over Tino's, which got a game-high 25 points from Bobby Carlson.

Wings and Things downed Republic 74-66 despite Republic's Kurt Alto sinking seven 3-pointers and scoring a game-high 21 points. W&T was led by Kyle Tiglis with 16 points.

Ron Logan drained a triple at the final buzzer to lift Meyer Family Vision to a 62-60 win over Congress Pizza. Logan finished with 27 points while Kable Rudman and Tyler Windahl had 15 apiece for Congress.

The big highlight of Week 11 was Gauthier Insurance breaking the century mark on the scoreboard with a 116-63 win over Congress. Derek Beltrame scored 35 points and Eppert 23 for the winners, while Rudman had 21 and Jordan Windahl 19 for Congress.

U.P. Insurance improved to 11-0 with a 50-39 win over Bell Forest Products. The winners' Brancheau scored 12, while teammates Mike Rubick and Andrew Wolfe added 10 each. Boone Bell scored 14 for Bell.

Tino's Bar upended Republic, 87-67, as Carlson scored 22 and Tino's teammates Steve Kangas, Chris Carlson and Jason Argall had 15 apiece. Wade Holsworth notched a game-high 24 for Republic.

Taylor Smith scored a season-high 40 points to lead Wings & Things to an 84-54 victory over Meyer Family Vision. Meyer's Logan put in 21.
