To the Journal editor:
Why didn't the Menominee County Journal print any Democratic primary vote totals alongside the Republicans' on Aug. 13? What else does the "News" keep from us? The Eagle Herald printed "Democratic Primary Turnout Has Soared...WI Dems voted in numbers not seen in decades." Record-setting Michigan Dem voters chose winners! Other states did too.
Polls show only about the low 30's% of people approve of this U.S. president. What does the vast majority of the U.S. and other countries know that the Trump-stuck minority doesn't or cannot believe?

A former 2-time Trump voter/ business owner told me he won't vote for Trump again because of all his empty, broken promises and outright lies:
1."No more wars." (Iran) 2. "I'll fix the economy" (higher prices and imposed illegal tariffs, corporate profits up but not most wages) 3. "Stop government waste, fraud and abuse" (his vanity projects wasted $1.2 billion and D.O.G.E. cut many consumer protection departments.) 4a. "Have a better Healthcare plan and 4b. Won't cut Medicaid (still no plan and more Big Bad Budget Bill's cutting this January) 5. "Bring down gas prices" (was $4.30 in Escanaba Aug. 19) 6. "End Russia's Ukraine war" (still raging) 7. "Best military" (drained U.S. weapons stockpiles, long-range missiles and air defense interceptors and straining Navy, USS Abraham Lincoln deployed for almost nine months depleting fresh water, food and sanitation supplies) 8. "Reduce national debt" (now over $40 trillion, Highest ever!), etc. (Then he lies about accomplishing these!)
Is this what the 30-ish % doesn't know or cannot believe? (Read "PolitiFact, 2-23- 2026.)
Did your sources report any of this? If not, why not? (Follow the money). He works only to enrich himself and his billionaire supporters. That's what most Republicans do. Think income inequality.
Do you want to remain un- or dis-informed? If so, why? Do your emotions override your thinking?
If not, consider Wisconsin Public Radio news 89.3 at least once daily. You owe it to your country to be well-informed and to vote intelligently. Future former Republican voters invited to vote for Dems or not vote.
