Marquette Kiwanis Club is pleased to announce that Peggy and Peter Frazier of Marquette, who have given so much to the community, have been selected as parade marshals for the 2026 July 4th Parade.

Peggy and Peter have sponsored the Lake Superior Theater from their boat house and have conducted the July 4th Boat Parade for many years.

This year’s Marquette Kiwanis July 4th Parade is a special one since it celebrates our nation’s 250th birthday. The theme is “One Nation Indivisible – 250 years.” This is the 31st year Marquette Kiwanis has sponsored the parade with the city of Marquette.

The parade starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 4 at the West Washington Street and McClellan Avenue (intersection) and runs east to Third Street. The line-up for floats starts at 1 p.m.

To keep children darting for candy safe, we still need 10 more crossing guards. If you can volunteer or can drive a convertible or fancy car in the parade, please let us know via email at directormqtparade@gmail.com.
