According to The Guardian, some military commanders are trying to convince their soldiers that the war in Iran is ‘all part of God’s divine plan’ and ‘President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.’ According to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, we should all be praying to his god for our soldiers, who he and President Trump have forced to fight in an elective war that never should have been started. Now, while in front of the video cameras, Hegseth is openly praying for his god to guide U.S. military strikes against Iran to their intended targets. The christian nationalists must be very excited and proud about Pete’s theatrics.

While shopping recently, I struck up a conversation with another shopper who happened to be a Jehova’s Witness. This person was praying for Armageddon to come and was excited by the prospect of seeing the “sinners” get their god ordained due in hell while all the good christians meet their maker. If they are in such a big hurry to meet their maker, I really cannot understand why those praying for Armageddon don’t just commit suicide and leave the rest of us out of their plans.

The White House Office of Faith is overrun by christian nationalists. The national prayer breakfast is all about christian influencers working the political system just like private industry does but using their influence to gain government favoritism toward christianity, more specifically christian nationalism. This goes against the first amendment of the constitution.

All the while the MAGA … Republicans have been busy building border walls, they have been secretly tearing down the down the wall between church and state. It is time to rebuild the wall between church and state, put the White House Faith Office and its employees into Elon’s woodchipper, prohibit government involvement with the national prayer breakfast. Those MAGA white trash christian nationalist government employees are free to pray to whatever god they wish on their own time away from government establishments.
