One outrage after another

To the Journal editor:

It seems like every day the Trump administration gives us news of another outrage that takes our attention away from yesterday’s outrage. One cruel, unconstitutional act after another.

It’s hard to step back and think it all over. Did anyone vote for the president to make an enemy of Canada? Did anyone vote for the president to annex Greenland, of all places? Did anyone vote to have paramilitary agents kidnap people off the streets and deport them to Central American prisons without a hearing? To have those agents murder people?

And then there’s the weirdness. A president who talks about the water pressure in toilets, about how big his ballroom is during cabinet meetings.

It’s sad the way so many of our elected officials and news media roll over and play dead. I figure they are either afraid or they agree with what Trump is doing.

Which choice describes U.S. Rep. Jack Bergman, R-Watersmeet? Scared of our bullying president or OK about turning ICE loose and having a crack pot foreign policy?

Sincerely,
