To the Journal editor:

More good news as we now are into September. Weather wise, we should have less humid days and cooler temperatures. We still have some smoke to deal with, but hopefully it won’t be as bad.

As for the news, I hope to get some good news. Have to hope our so-called leaders in Washington, D.C., will try to think of us people and not themselves. When I’m out and talking to most people, they say they are not watching news much but for those who like football and baseball, it’s still nice to watch the games.

Also, as I’ve said, if you have family and friends, you can help each other keep positive and for me, the help of the Lord keeps me going and not worried about the bad news. We hear a lot of prayers I came across years ago. God, please grant us always a sun to keep us warm, a beautiful moon at night, your angels to be with us so no harm will come to us, laughter to keep us smiling and again, friends, and family to be near us, and most of all, when we pray, hear us in your beautiful heaven.
