To the Journal editor:

Our granddaughter enjoyed watching Ms. Rachel’s educational video for toddlers and preschoolers. So I was amazed to hear that Ms. Rachel was the target of hateful criticism for saying publicly that killing and starving children in Gaza is wrong.

First of all, who could get that angry with someone who makes videos, teaching toddlers and cows say “moo?” Second, she is giving aid and comfort to Hamas? Really? I suspect that every news report about bombing a hospital or gunning down hungry families as they run toward aid trucks is the best recruiting tool Hamas ever had.

Some relatives on my father side would occasionally say hateful things about people who were different from them. My mom would respond by saying, “We’re all God’s children.”

I think Ms. Rachel would agree with my mom.
