A time to remember our loved ones who have passed away. Also as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force in the U.S. Coast Guard, it’s time to honor the many veterans who served and did not come home alive.

They gave their lives in service to our country. For those of us veterans who survived and the many now serving, I hope this country, the U.S., will remember not only Memorial Day but each day, that serving is not doing what you want, but to do what is commanded by the country.

We serve the U.S. in places that are not always pleasant: on ships, in the air, and of course, ground forces, ready to do our duty.

The world today is more dangerous and remember we who served and our serving, are ready to give our life if needed. So God bless our troops and remember Memorial Day.
