Enjoy it while you can

With our two late winter storms, don’t let that get to you. (Soon, the snow) will melt … and into spring we go. A few years ago, I looked at what I wrote about this time of year. It’s about our Upper Peninsula of Michigan — beauty in each season, many sights to see.

We still have our forests and the many rivers, plus our big, beautiful Lake Superior and some good people live here. With all the negative news from Washington D.C., and many areas getting a lot of really bad weather, just get out and away from the news. As I’ve written before, there are lots of places to enjoy, our still fresh air and good water.

Also be reminded, if you have good eyes to see the beauty and the health to be able to still walk, then get out while you can. With more climate change coming, it’s time to bask in the sun, swimming and clean water and most of all, realize getting away from our troubled world, and finding the real peace to be out in nature. Soon the birds and other wildlife will be with us.

I remember being in the U.S. Coast Guard in Hawaii. They have very nice weather, but, on an island in the Pacific Ocean, you can’t go too far or get in your car and see the beauty in our other states. So, get out of your house and say “Happy spring.”

Starting at $3.23/week.
