Questions, questions

To the Journal editor:

“We are finding billions of dollars of waste.”– Elon Musk.

No, they are not.

We are finding billions of dollars of fraud”- Elon Musk.

No, they are not.

” We are saving America billions of dollars” -Again, Elon Musk.

No, they are not.

Do you want to know how I know they aren’t finding billions of dollars of waste?

Do you want to know how I know they aren’t finding billions of dollars of fraud”

Do you want to know how I know they aren’t saving America billions of dollars?

I know because they aren’t even looking for waste.

I know because they aren’t even looking for fraud.

If they were looking for waste they would be using accountants, not computer programmers.

If they were looking for fraud they would be using accountants, not computer programmers.

If they were intent on saving billions of dollars they would have done so legally.

Nothing that Musk and DOGE have done is legal.

It is congresses job to allocate funds, not the presidents nor his appointees. No matter what trump or Musk or any republican tells you.

The SC has affirmed this in the past. The president has no power to impound funds.

Spoiler alert: I have no confidence in today’s Federalist Society groomed SC to adhere to previous court precedents. None.

Does anybody else find it suspicious that Musk first cut funds to government agencies that have been investigating Musk’s various companies for waste, fraud and conflicts of interest?

Agencies that have fined his companies for various regulatory and safety violations?

Isn’t anybody else concerned that Musk and his DOGE flunkies are hacking our governments most sensitive computers and downloading the information?

What are they doing with the data?

Who else is getting their hands on this information?

My guess is Putin and Russia.

Is there really “nothing to see here”?

Is there nothing to see here that the trump administration and DOGE are canceling contracts with Musks competitors and are now negotiating with Musk for additional billions of dollars of taxpayer monies to go to his various company’s?

I find it deplorable that the GOP has chosen a convicted felon to be POTUS.

I find it even more deplorable that today’s GOP is aiding and abetting trump in what I consider to be criminal enterprises.
